Envisioning a better future, The Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital, Mumbai has been endeavoring since 1990 towards providing quality medical care for the visually impaired. It has been in the forefront of bringing in breakthrough technology in the field of eye care in India and is now the biggest eye hospital in Mumbai. The Aditya Jyot Foundation in Dharavi is in line with this very vision and aims to provide better eye care facilities for the lesser privileged sections in the society.
The launch of the Aditya Jyot foundation was organized by Shobiz as a part of the Shobiz Cares initiative. The launch was held on the 1st of August at the NCPA Tata Theatre. The event was a fund raising initiative to better the infrastructure and other amenities at the foundation.
The evening saw the grand unveiling of the logo and website of the Aditya Jyot Foundation. With a view towards funds, the launch featured a regaling performance by Shaan. The pre function area also showcased a photography exhibition. The event was also graced by the presence of renowned radio personality, Mr. Amin Saayani and The Mumbai Police Commissioner, Mr. D. Sivanandan.
The event not only managed to raise funds for the foundation but also helped bring visibility and awareness towards the cause. We at Shobiz have out sights firmly set on partnering more of such initiatives because Shobiz Cares about giving back!
